At Auto show Guangzhou 2023, BYD's new heavyweight model, the Hai Lion 07 EV its debut. The Hai Lion 07 EV was created by a design team led by BYD's Global Styling Director Wolfgang Egger.
In terms of appearance, the new car continues to adopt the ocean aesthetic design. The front face is a continuation of the Ocean X concept car design, utilizing a large number of line cuts, with two raised tendons on the front hatch, enriching the front end's sense of hierarchy and three-dimensionality. The side of the car is shaped by smooth lines to create an elegant stance, and is further enhanced by an upward shoulder line and a simple and powerful double waistline design, which further enhances the sense of speed.
The tail section is also dynamic, with rich straight lines and dynamic curves intertwined to create a strong visual impact. The attention-grabbing through-type tail lamps are a plus for the face value, and the low-hanging shape at both ends presents a dynamic visual effect. In terms of power, the Sea Lion 07 EV will be equipped with the e platform 3.0.
